Creating A High Converting Landing Page
The idea of a landing page is to capture the email and/or name of a visitor. Some landing pages do collect more but your rate of conversions will fall as you ask for more information. There are several different types of landing pages some will convert high but can’t be used with Google Adwords. Google requires a full site rather than a bridge page or landing page to server their ads. For this case study lets say we were building a landing page for use outside of Google Adwords.
You want the landing page to be simple yet effective. I recommend using Optimize Press which you can build landing pages in minutes. The idea is to draw the visitors eye to the offer and your opt-in box. The site should have a headline, picture of your product and opt-in form.
The best converting pages use a lead magnet. A lead magnet is something you give away for free if they sign up to your free newsletter. Using a quality lead magnet help rise conversions greatly and help you build your list to which you then email market to for your pay products and/or affiliate products.
You have to remember people won’t be on your site for longer then 20 seconds you need to catch their attention and get them to opt-in. Don’t put too much info on the page you want some curiosity so they want it but give them enough info they the visitor feels your free gift is worth giving their email address for.
